Gulnara Kalikova is a founder and senior partner at Kalikova & Associates law firm, one of the leading law firms in the Kyrgyz Republic working with national and foreign investors. In over twenty years of practice Ms. Kalikova has advised clients on a wide range of foreign investment transactions in the Kyrgyz Republic with special emphasis on investment agreements joint ventures, corporate governance, project finance, secured and unsecured lending, public and private partnership projects. Ms. Kalikova has represented clients in some of the largest acquisitions and direct foreign investments in the Kyrgyz Republic and often negotiates on behalf of her clients with the high ranking government officials and agencies.

Ms. Kalikova worked as an attorney and head of the representative offices of Chadbourne & Parke LLP and Mayer, Brown & Platt for over eight years.

Ms. Kalikova graduated from the Kyrgyz State University with honors in 1983, obtained PhD from the Kyrgyz State University in 1991 and her LLM from Harvard Law School in 2002.
