Following a successful presentation in New York at the American Bar Association Spring meeting, representatives of the CIS Leading Counsel Network (LCN) travelled to Washington DC where they held a lunch discussion on April 23, 2012 at the offices of Paton Boggs LLP discussing legal issues and tips on doing business across the CIS. 9 senior partners representing every member of the CIS LCN i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan and Ukraine spoke at the event.
Joseph Brand, Partner of Patton Boggs LLP, opened the event welcoming all guests. A total of 40 lawyers and business professionals focussing on the region attended the presentation, which was followed by an active Q&A session.
