AEQUITAS partners took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference

29-30 September 2011 - AEQUITAS partners, Olga Chentsova and Tatyana Suleyeva, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Civil Law as Science: History, Theory and Practice Issues" held in the framework of annual civil law readings in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

This conference marked the 70th anniversary of the leading Kazakhstan's civil law expert, Member of Kazakhstan National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Law, Professor Maidan Suleimenov, and was dedicated to the issues of civil legislation reforms in the CIS states.

The leading civil law experts from the CIS and far-abroad countries: Rolf Knipper, Professor, Bremen University; Veniamin F. Yakovlev, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Head of Chair "Legal Support of Economy" of the Russian Academy of State Service, Associate Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Natalia S. Kuznetsova, Professor of the Civil Law Chair of the Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University, Member of Legal Sciences Academy; Lado Chanturia, Professor of Tbilisi State University and Kiel University; Tamara Ye.
