NEWSROOM

Turcan Cazac is the new name of the Turcan & Turcan law firm from the Republic Moldova

The recent decision to change the name was made unanimously by all members of the firm.  Established back in 1999, the firm earned its leading market reputation by having successfully represented most important foreign investors, international financial institutions, and private clients in the Republic of Moldova.  Now, after many years of professional dedication and hard work, the team felt like the firm deserves a new identity.

Alexander Turcan, founding partner: “I am extremely proud to share with my old colleague Octavian Cazac the personal responsibility for our firm’s reputation.  Our new corporate identity better reflects individual efforts and contributions that have ensured the firm’s leadership and success across our core practice areas, such as corporate and finance law, as well as litigation on behalf of those parties, who do not ‘feel at home’ in Moldova.  I am also very thankful to all our colleagues for having fully supported the name change initiative.”

Octavian Cazac, partner: “Our new logo reflects our firm’s strong belief that good solutions to our clients’ complex problems are simple, focused and locally-tailored. As the new name partner in our firm, I feel increased responsibility for the cultivation of this philosophy among our lawyers.  I also believe that PPPs will be among main mid-term trends in Moldova, and our ice-breaking experience in this new area will help our clients meet their targets.”
