Mrs. Manayenko has been working with Aequitas since March 2004 and specializes in civil, corporate, antimonopoly, subsoil use and environmental law. From December 1998 to December 2003 she worked as a lawyer with the PetroKazakhstan Overseas Services Inc., a Canadian company in the PetroKazakhstan group of companies carrying out petroleum operations in Kazakhstan.

Mrs. Manayenko has a vast experience in the sphere of subsoil use, antimonopoly legislation, securing of obligations and legal support of M&A transactions. She has frequently represented clients in relations with state bodies.

Recent projects in which she participated include:

• Advice to a large international insurance company on the issues of antimonopoly regulation.
• Due diligence of activities of a large Kazakhstan transport company.
• Legal support of a transaction for the acquisition of shares of a Kazakhstan subsoil user, including due diligence of activities and advice on the issues of securing of obligations and the structuring of the transaction.
• Legal support of a transaction for the acquisition of indirect interest in a Kazakhstan subsoil user, including advice on the issues of antimonopoly legislation and the structuring of the transaction.
• Ongoing advice to a leading American oil company on the issues of contract, civil and antimonopoly legislation.
• Advice to a number of major foreign companies on subsoil use issues.

Mrs. Manayenko graduated from the Adilet Higher School of Law in 1998. She is currently pursuing a LLM Petroleum Law and Policy Degree (Dundee University, Scotland).
